Albion Millennium Green is a volunteer-run space. We need to raise around £500 per year just to cover our insurance costs with additional amounts needed to cover care and maintenance of the Green. Thank you so much for your generous support.

PLEASE TAKE CARE! As indicated below, we are in the process of raising funds to replace the fallen wall with wooden fencing. We aim to use the bricks elsewhere on the Green, potentially for our planned new pond interpretation area. In the meantime, please do keep clear of the areas that have been cordoned off.

Work in progress on the Green

Sometimes everything wears out at the same time! During 2025 we will be fundraising to do vital but expensive repair work on the Green. A key task will be to replace the fallen wall on Albion Villas Road with fencing. At the start of January 2025, we were able to refurbish and reposition the noticeboard which had broken and fallen down. We are also pleased to have received over £1,000 from the Kenneth White Legacy Award to refurbish the pond (the pond liner no longer holds water efficiently and therefore water levels are low). For logistical reasons, to best time to do this work will be Autumn/Winter. Please bear with us in the meantime - and of course any donations, however small, would be most welcome!
